10th Annual Colls Classic Tournament

The 10th Annual Colls Classic Volleyball Tournament was held at Collingswood High School.
Play began at 9 am and concluded at 6 pm.  Fifty games were played over the course of 9 hours before a winner was decided.  The participating schools were:

Pool A
Central (Phila.) A
Collingswood
Clearview
Eastern
Kingsway

Pool B
Central (Phila.) B
Hunterdon Central
Pennsauken Tech
St. Augustine
Washington Twp.

* Pool play consisted of 2 games to 21 points.  *All teams made the playoffs.
* The top two seeded teams had a bye to the semifinals.  * Playoffs were one single elimination games to 25 points (no cap).

The top two teams after pool play were Eastern with an 8-0 record and Washington Twp. with a 7-1 record.

Collingswood advanced to the semifinals where they were defeated by Washington Twp. and Philadelphiašs Central A advanced to the semifinals were they were defeated by the eventual winner Eastern. Eastern completed the day undefeated. The MVP of the tourney was Harrison Carsillo from Collingswood.
